Although we have just received the public version of iOS 26.2, Apple does not stop, and has already shown us the next one we will receive, or at least the first beta of what remains to be polished, but it gives us an idea of everything new that we will see in it.
It is not recommended to install it, unless we have a secondary phone, since it could contain bugs and errors that would put our iPhone in trouble, so if you don't have one, don't worry, we will tell you what is to come, so that, when it officially comes out, you will have everything clear.
iOS 26.3 beta 1: what it brings
Apple has released the first beta of iOS 26.3, and although it is not a huge update, it does include several interesting improvements that you may notice in the daily use of your iPhone. Nothing revolutionary, but practical changes and some details designed to make things more comfortable, even though it is still the first of the betas, and many things could change.
One of the functions that has attracted the most attention is something called “Notification Forwarding”. Although it is still in testing and is not active for everyone, the idea is allow notifications from your iPhone to be sent to other devices that are not from Apple. It would be something new within how Apple handles alerts, and you could activate this from the notification settings if it finally appears in the final version of iOS 26.3.
Another change that this beta brings is a improvement in reminders. When you're setting up alerts for a task, you can now do it more visually and easily. This may seem silly, but it makes organizing your to-do list less frustrating and more intuitive.
Apple has also adjusted small interface details here and there, like icons and text that now look clearer or respond better to gestures. These are changes that are not immediately obvious, but they add up when you have been using the phone for a while.
In this beta some have also been found references to features that could arrive in the futuresuch as new accessibility options and adjustments to the way apps communicate with each other. Nothing is confirmed yet, but it hints that Apple is constantly fine-tuning iOS.
In short, iOS 26.3 is focusing on polishing and improving what already exists before introducing big new features. This is something that we will see for a long time, even with iOS 27, since Apple has made it clear that it wants to have a very stable system again, leaving aside important improvements, at least until everything works as they want.
If everything continues its course, the final version should arrive in the coming weeks with these improvements ready for everyone, possibly at the end of January 2026, since we have several betas ahead of us, before the public version, so we will also discover new improvements in the next ones, as well as corrections to possible bugs.
