That is, if you have an account in Spain or another country that belongs to the European Union, you will not be able to use this tool even if it were here, so forget about going to Germany and being able to talk with a native from there, at least with your AirPods, which will cost you the same as another user outside Europe.
In particular, the EU Artificial Intelligence Law and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) impose strict requirements on the offer of voice and translation services. Regulators might want to study how live translation works and how it affects privacy, consent, data flows and user rights. Apple will also want to ensure that your system fully complies with these standards before enabling the function in the EU accounts.
