Tim Cook himself confirmed that the new version of Siri will arrive next year and that development is progressing without problems. In an interview with CNBC, Apple's CEO explained that this update will bring a more “personalized” version of the assistant, with features that will debut in iOS 26.4, scheduled for March 2026. He also reiterated to Reuters that the company is “progressing well” with the project, just before announcing the highest financial results in its history for the third quarter of 2025.
The big Siri update was presented during the WWDC 2024 conference, but last March Apple announced its delay. The new Siri promises to better understand the user's personal context, recognize what appears on the screen and offer more specific controls within each application. During a demonstration, Apple showed how the assistant could answer questions about the user's mother's flight or their meal reservations, combining information from emails and messages.
