Last week, Halfbrick Studios officially launched its unlimited gaming service “Halfbrick Plus” for fans to enjoy an uninterrupted gaming experience, with no ads or extra fees, and all content unlocked. In the catalog, we find the classics Jetpack Joyride and Fruit Ninja, but also other titles like Colossatron or Nimble Quest. The developers explain that the catalog will expand over time and with new, unpublished games, some of which come from other publishers.
Last week, Halfbrick+ added Mega Jumpa platform game where the goal is to jump as high as possible while avoiding monsters and collecting coins. In a week, it’s Nimble Quest who will join the service. For those who don’t know Nimble Questit’s a fun little game based on the old Nokia snake game. Players control a line of heroes, destroying enemies, collecting new heroes, and amassing treasure.

But how much does it cost?
This is the annoying question: Halbrick+ costs €2.99 per month, or €34.99 per year. It’s not very expensive in itself, but compared to Apple Arcade at €6.99 for example, the difference is obvious. We are talking about a catalog of around ten games compared to almost 300. But fans of the studio could succumb, Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride still having a certain success more than ten years after their launch. The friendly Dan the Man, Jetpack Joyride Test Labs, Bears vs. Art, Lazy Dog, Monster Dash, Colossatron and other Battle Racing Stars are also present.
