Previously, the MacBook came with a charger inside the box (as currently), however, it was not the only accessory, because next to them, they brought a cable extensor that managed to expand the meters that we could have between the plug and our computer, giving us an extra comfort in any situation.
Today, these only come with a standard cable, which, for many, is enough, until you go to a place that is not your home, and you realize that it is not as long as you would like, because it does not arrive well at the place where you want to put your Mac, however, there is a very simple solution, acquire one.

As we said, this accessory was free, but like others, Apple has decided to withdraw it from its products, now, you have to pay it. It is true that it is something expensive, at least if we compare it with a simple extender, because in the end I would do something similar, however, the quality of this and the comfort of always carrying it on top, or leave it to a friend, it is an extra that can make you decide for it. I have it, and the truth is that I cannot be more delighted with him, since he adapts both to a 2014 MAC (to say one), as well as an M1 of 2020.
Currently, we can find it between 11 and 15 euros, depending on the offer and the moment, this being this 1.8 meters longwhich would be added to the already cable that you have, so we could talk about a distance greater than 3 or 4 meters in total, which allows us, to practically cross a room without problem.
There are unofficial versions, however, already acquired it, we recommend that it be from the Apple brand, as it will offer you greater quality. Mine, as I put in the example, I have been using it since 2014, with my previous Mac, where it did include me, and today, 10 years later, it is still my confidence extender in my M1, so we could say that it is eternal, since I have not loaded it a few times precisely.
At the level of electrical security, as well as a voltage and energy supplied more regularlythe adapter is a much better choice than a simple plug extender, so if you want to take care of your MAC, and for the price difference, I, at least, would do with one. There is only the 1.8 meter version, although I think it is more than enough.
