Until this year's edition of MWC, OPPO's Ultra models had never left Asia. The Find X9 Ultra changes that: OPPO confirmed its European launch in Barcelona, the first time that one of its ships “Ultra” flagship arrives in this market. The moment does not seem chosen at random – the Galaxy S26 Ultra is already in pre-sale – and the company has not hidden its intentions.

The cameras, the main argument
Official specifications have not yet been released, but leaks point to four rear cameras, two of them 200 megapixels: a Sony LYT-901 main sensor with f/1.5 aperture and a periscope, plus a 10x optical zoom at 50 MP with focal length equivalent to 230 mm. It would be the first telephoto lens of this range since the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The collaboration with Hasselblad continues, just like in the X9 Pro, which already left good results in color and portrait.

The usual Achilles heel of Chinese devices in Europe has not been the hardware, but the software layer and image processing. Yeah ColorOS 16 lives up to what the specifications promise, OPPO will have a serious argument to compete in the premium segment—not just to appear in it.
