The new Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 is now official and will be unveiled at the end of June, featuring a revamped design with reduced thickness, improved performance thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Elite, and a Leica camera setup. This new foldable phone will debut in China and soon after hit the global market.
Just a few hours ago, Xiaomi published the image we can see on the cover of this article, as well as the images below. Apparently, the Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 will debut at the end of the month alongside the new Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro, as well as the REDMI K Pad and the REDMI K80 Ultra.
First details of the Xiaomi MIX Flip 2: possible features and release date
As shown in the following image, Xiaomi has officially announced the arrival of the Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 by showing part of its packaging. Additionally, the company has confirmed that it will be equipped with Leica lenses, making clear its collaboration agreement with the German company specializing in cameras and optical instruments.
At the moment, Xiaomi hasn’t specified the exact launch date for its new Xiaomi MIX Flip 2, but it has made it clear that the presentation event will be at the end of the month. Even so, rumors have already started to spread, revealing a revamped design with a thinner design and a larger, higher-quality external display. According to several leaks, the Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 will have a thickness of just 7.6mm and a weight that won’t exceed 190 grams.
Furthermore, if the rumors are correct, the new Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip inside, achieving performance worthy of any other flagship. Added to this is a 6.85-inch foldable OLED internal display (1.5K and a 120Hz refresh rate). In addition, everything indicates that it will have a 5,100mAh battery with 67W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
