September is typically the month Apple unveils its new iPhone lineup, and in the weeks leading up to the launch, there are a lot of rumors circulating about the new devices’ features.
On this occasion, a leaker known on X (formerly Twitter) as Majin Bu shared what the colors of the iPhone 17 line could be. The surprise this year would be in the shades of the Pro line, which would include an orange color for the first time.
These would be all the colors in which these cell phones could come:
- iPhone 17: black, white, pink, blue, and green.
- iPhone 17 Air: black, white, blue, and off-white.
- iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max: black, white, dark blue, orange, and gray.
It’s important to note that, according to several leakers, Apple will replace the iPhone Plus this year with an Air model, whose main features are its thinness and the inclusion of a single camera.
When will this new iPhone line be presented?
According to German media outlet iPhone Ticker, which compiles information from internal sources at mobile phone providers in Germany, Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 17 on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.
Deliveries to customers and sales at Apple Stores and authorized resellers are expected to begin a week later, on Thursday, September 19, initially in key global markets: the United States, China, Europe, and Japan.
What other products would Apple present?
At the September event, Apple will not only unveil its new iPhone lineup, but could also launch other devices, such as a possible third-generation AirPods Pro and new Apple Watch models.
As usual, the company is expected to update several of its product lines at the same time. However, the HomePod refresh is likely to be delayed until 2026.
What rumors are there about the new iPhone line?
Other rumors about the new iPhone lineup, by model, include:
- iPhone 17 (standard): It would maintain a 6.3-inch screen, but this time with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It would be equipped with the A19 chip and 8 GB of RAM.
- iPhone 17 Air: It’s shaping up to be the most innovative model. It would replace the iPhone Plus and stand out for its ultra-thin design (just 5.4 mm), 6.5-inch display, a single 48 MP rear camera, A19 Pro chip, and 12 GB of RAM.
- Phone 17 Pro: It would also have a 6.3-inch screen, but with a new camera module that would occupy the entire top part. It would incorporate a triple camera system with a 48 MP telephoto lens (improved from the current 12 MP), in addition to the A19 Pro chip and 12 GB of RAM.
As for other products:
- Apple Watch Series 11, SE 3, and Ultra 3 are reportedly getting a complete makeover, with the Ultra 3 being the most anticipated, with potential features like blood pressure monitoring and 5G connectivity.
- AirPods Pro 3: Speculation is rife that they could come with an H3 chip, improved noise cancellation, and new health features like heart rate and body temperature monitoring.
- iPhone 17 Pro Max: It would have a 6.9-inch screen, the same cameras as the Pro model, and possibly include a new additional button, in addition to the already familiar action button.
Apple has yet to provide official details about its next-generation iPhone, though it’s expected to be unveiled in September 2025, alongside iOS 26, the new operating system announced at WWDC 2025.
