They are exactly the same modelsand the only difference is the color, so, no, there is no reason, and if you like it better in black, you will have to pay more, but you will get the same features as the white, the only thing you are guaranteed, if you see it, is that it will be the latest version, since this color was not previously marketed.
Today, on Amazon, for example, we can see some offers for less than 100 euros for the black model, although the white one is always lower, and sometimes the difference is quite a bit.
Regarding the differences with the first generation, there are not many, and both in aesthetics, as well as in ports and other functions, they are practically the same, therefore, in my opinion, unless you want the new color, It is not worth buying the new Magic Mouseand possibly those offers from websites where they have the first unit launched by Apple for just over 60 euros, are a much better choice than the new one for almost 100, especially if you want it safely in white.
As for the Magic Trackpad, we have the same result, a new more expensive black color, but the same as white, so yes, they are also the same, in case you want to get the complete pack, where you will see a difference of up to 50 euros if you do it in one color or another, something that attracts attention.
