Huawei has presented in China the Nova Flip Sa new folding clamshell that significantly reduces the entry price compared to the first Nova Flip. With a lower starting cost and maintaining the compact format, this model seeks to bring the folding experience to more users, without giving up key details such as a main screen with LTPO technology and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a 50 megapixel camera or 66 W fast charging.
The manufacturer has not detailed the processor, but it does confirm HarmonyOS 5.14400 mAh battery and certification that guarantees durability of up to 1.2 million folds. There are also new finishes with new colors such as Sky Blue and Feather Sand Black, in addition to those already known in the Nova family. All this in a body that, when unfolded, maintains a thickness of 6.9 mm and a weight of 195 grams.
Screens and design: continuity with useful improvements
The Nova Flip S retains the formula of the first model with a 6.9 inch internal panel (1136 x 2698 pixels) and variable refresh rate between 1 and 120 Hz. The “waterdrop” hinge promises a less visible fold mark and adds a Swiss SGS resistance certification.
Outside we find a 2.14 inch secondary screen (480 x 480 pixels) designed for notifications, payments with QR codes and quick widgets. Huawei incorporates customizable themes and backgrounds, as well as a 'live window' system that allows you to check the status of flights or orders without having to open the phone.
