Apple could acquire the rights to F1
It would not be the first sport that Apple would have, nor a novelty, since currently, for example, Apple TV has the MLS in the United States, so the system is prepared to broadcast live matches, the only thing missing is the agreement for other sports, such as Formula 1, to arrive.
Of course, the issue of licenses could be a problem for countries like Spain, since, possibly, at first, it could only be seen from the United States, which would greatly limit this novelty, despite the fact that there are ways to see it with VPNs as well.
In short, this possible step by Apple is not too surprising if we look at its recent history. The company has been flirting with live sports for some time and, with F1, he could take the definitive leap. It would be a very smart move: Formula 1 has a huge, passionate and global community, just the type of audience that Apple knows how to take care of, since, currently, the sports it broadcasts have a limited niche, especially by country.
Furthermore, competing with platforms like Amazon or Netflix in this area would only reinforce its position within streaming, giving it that touch of exclusivity that it likes so much, and the only way to get people who love movies, but also sports, to change the usual giants for others. But beyond the simple fact of issuing races, the really interesting thing would be to see how Apple integrates the experience within its ecosystem. We could have real-time statistics from the iPhone, 4K replays from the Apple TV, or even an immersive experience with Apple Vision Pro that makes you feel like you're inside the car. It wouldn't be alone see F1but to live it in another way. And, knowing Apple, they would surely not be satisfied with offering just one more broadcast: they would seek to turn each Grand Prix into a technological spectacle worthy of their brand.
