This would achieve something very interesting, and that is not having a capacity limit, and that everyone, in a different way than with a simple television, can enter the meetings, with ambient sound and everything that you cannot currently have. Now that could become a reality.
How the infinite Bernabéu works
Real Madrid and Apple are working together on a project called “Infinite Bernabeu”designed so that any fan can experience the stadium as if they were there, no matter where they are. To achieve this, they are creating a virtual reality experience that can be seen with the Apple Vision Pro from 2026.
The interesting thing is that it is not just a video: they have installed more than 30 cameras throughout the stadium to capture moments that normally only the players and staff experience. From walking through the locker room tunnel to feeling the atmosphere of a game from the field. All this is recreated in 360° so that the user can “get inside” the Bernabéu.
The idea is that people who cannot travel to Madrid can experience the emotion of being in the stadium, listening to the fans, seeing the grass from the front row and experiencing the tension of a match as if they were right there. It is a step towards a new way of enjoying football, more immersive and closer.
Additionally, Apple is integrating functions through Apple Wallet to make the visit to the stadium also more comfortable: digital tickets, quick payments, directions inside the venue and even personalized recommendations for match days. That is, you can carry your ticket on your Apple Watch, for example, and not lose it in physical format, or not find it in your digital files, something much more tedious than simply using your iPhone “Wallet.”
In short, the idea is that any fan can feel inside the Bernabéu, even if they are thousands of kilometers away. It combines the most advanced technology with all the excitement of football so that watching a match is a totally different experience, whether sitting in the stands or from your living room.
There is still a long way to go to see it, and, above all, for everyone to have these Vision Pros. However, these types of projects are what could open the market so that many people, who did not see the use of a Vision Pro, begin to see them.
